Hello and
welcome
A little bit about me
Hi. I am Jodie. I live in a small village on the outskirts of Nottingham called Gotham (yes, Batman is my neighbour!). I live with my husband and our two year old daughter. I have Irish heritage on my Dads side so we called her Orlagh as a tribute to him. We are a busy household with two labradors and a parrot. Living in the countryside you will often find us outdoors, going for walks through the fields, myself with coffee in hand.
My career outside of photography is quite bit different! I have spent over 14 years working as an Occupational Therapist for various organisations including the NHS, local authorities, and private independent organisations. Even within this, I have tried, where possible, to utilise my creative side to support people to achieve their goals.
I have always been interested in photography, and remember constantly grabbing the family camera to take holiday photos when I was a child. There is something about capturing a moment, preserving it so it can be revisited and bring back the emotions and memories from that time that I have always loved and been passionate about.
I BELIEVE IN
taking risks
